I feel kinda stupid that this only occurred to me like yesterday but the Hogwarts houses totally match the four classical elements:
Gryffindor is fire, Hufflepuff is earth, Ravenclaw is air, and Slytherin is water.
Please tell me I’m not the only person who didn’t make this connection like a thousand years ago.
