Today the Department of Extraordinary Upcycling is catching up with the latest work by artist Emily Seilhamer, who designed and made a dress for herself using 10,000 Starburst candy wrappers this past spring.

A beautiful dress requires equally beautiful accessories, so Emily recently used over 2,000 Starburst wrappers to make herself a matching purse. Then she used over 400 wrappers on a new pair of shoes to create a pair of matching Starburst heels. Both the purse and the shoes are fully functional, just like the dress.

Follow Emily Seilhamer on Facebook to keep up with her latest inspiring projects.
