You can apply for a gun, a weak ass tiny pistol, and after extensive back ground checks, psychological evaluations, and training then you can get your weak ass pistol to defend yourself from potential intruders. If you’re a hunter then you can rent a rifle the way you’d rent a car. The amount of people that have been saved by a gun vs the amount of people that have died as a result of gun violence isn’t even close and I genuinely could not give less of a shit about the fact it’s an “heirloom” or part of someone’s culture, literally don’t care, your need to have a gun does not come before other people’s need to live. Also, the whole threat made by gun owners that they’ll shoot anyone who tries to take their guns…. Bitch, I wish you would because the less of you there are the safer I feel.

Dude, people of color, LGBTQ+, women, lots of people with disabilities and people who just had the AUDACITY to be born poor (if you fall into more than one of those demographics it’s even worse) already don’t have those rights!
