i literally cant believe that this election is so neck-and-neck

like????? trump has literally never held a political office in his life, he doesnt understand how the government works, he’s a terrible person, he literally does not know what he’s talking about on any issues, and he’s literally admitted to sexual assault and is currently at this moment facing charges of child rape. also none of his business ventures have actually been successful, while his whole campaign revolves around the concept that he is a good businessman.

meanwhile, hillary’s not perfect, but neither is obama??? or any president???????? any president we have is going to be inherently problematic, bc the presidency is a position of power within a fucked up capitalistic imperialistic system. but at least she’s fuckign qualified and educated on the topics she talks about and does genuinely want to do some good in the world.

like. i literally dont understand how a woman who is more qualified than possibly anyone else in the country is neck-and-neck with a racist orange reptile

I personally am both baffled and horrified that, in order to finally elect our first female president, not only does she have to literally be the most qualified candidate in history, her male opponent has to be the least qualified candidate in history – and she still might not win.

Re: Christianity and therapy…I grew up in a house where my mom did (and still does) believe that depression can be cured by vitamin D and prayer. It wasn’t until I was in college that I was able to get actual help. Growing up, my youth pastors were well aware I suffered from an eating disorder and did nothing. Last time I visited my church the speaker called having an eating disorder and depression as personal choices. I can definitely relate to feeling ostracized by other Christians.

It sounds like you are describing awful people who self-identify as Christian, while completely ignoring the teachings in the New Testament where Christ makes it pretty clear that He wants you to take care of yourself.

For what it’s worth, it doesn’t sound like you’re ostracized by Christians as much as you are ostracized by assholes.

i’m just gonna say…

the difference being subtle hints

Turbo from Ralph is good and unexpected villian too and with good subtle hints as well.

You can’t just make a character start being evil with no explanation or foreshadowing or any character hints whatsoever. It makes the viewer feel cheated.
